यह सर्व विदित है कि पृथ्वी पर आदिम युग से ही मनुष्य का विकास धीरे धीरे होता आ रहा है। मानव की उत्पत्ति के विषय में उपलब्ध अवधारणाएँ कई प्रकार की हैं परंतु उसका विकास कब और किस प्रकार से हुआ है, यह आज भी शोध का विषय है। इस युग के प्रारंभ होने की जानकारी निश्चित रूप से पता नहीं चलती है परंतु महात्मा बुद्ध से पूर्व इस युग की स्थापना भलीभाँति हो चुकी थी। इनमें सिंधु घाटी, मिस्र और मेसोपोटामिया की सभ्यताएँ प्रमुख हैं। ये सभ्यताएँ व्यापक रूप से सिंधु, नील, दजला- फरात आदि नदियों के किनारे विकसित हुई थीं। इससे यह स्पष्ट है कि बौद्धिक के विकास पर ही मनुष्य की संपूर्ण प्रगति केंद्रित रही है।
बहुमुखी प्रतिभा सम्पन्न बंजारा जनजाति समाज भी इन्हीं सभ्यताओं का अंग है। ऐतिहासिक दृष्टि से देखा जाए तो यह समाज प्रारंभ से ही समाज की मुख्यधारा के निकट रहने वाला जनजातीय समाज है। मानव समाज की सेवा में वाणिज्यक वस्तुओं को लदेणी के माध्यम से संपूर्ण विश्व में पहुँचाने का कार्य इस समाज ने किया है। इनकी वेशभूषा, भाषा, आचार-विचार आदि आम समाज से भिन्न है। वर्तमान में यह समाज संपूर्ण भारत और विदेशों में भी फैला हुआ है। कालांतर में इस समाज पर अन्य समाजों का जो प्रभाव पड़ता रहा है उन्हें भी इस समाज ने अवश्य ग्रहण किया है। अपनी विशिष्ट संस्कृति के साथ साथ इसने सर्वधर्म समभाव की धारणा को अंगीकृत और सामासिक संस्कृति को आत्मसात किया है।
भारतीय संविधान के अनुसरण में इस समाज की सामाजिक, शैक्षणिक, आर्थिक और राजनैतिक प्रगति के लिए प्रत्येक बंजारा सामाज के व्यक्ति को जागरूक करने हेतु भारतीय बंजारा कर्मचारी सेवा संस्था अपने स्थापना वर्ष 1998 से ही देश में अपने उद्देश्य को कार्यान्वित कर रही है। अतएव सभी बंजारों से अनुरोध है कि वे इस समाज के कल्याणार्थ इस संस्था में अपनी प्रतिभागिता सुनिश्चित करके अपने कर्तव्य का पालन करें ताकि समाज का भविष्य उज्जवल हो सके।

There are many types of concepts available regarding the origin of humans, but when and how did they develop is still a subject of research. The information about the beginning of this era is not known with certainty but this era was well established before Mahatma Buddha. Among these, the civilizations of Indus Valley, Egypt and Mesopotamia are prominent. These civilizations were widely developed along the banks of rivers like Indus, Nile, Tigris-Euphrates etc. From this it is clear that the entire progress of man has been focused on the development of the intellect.
The versatile Banjara tribal community is also a part of these civilizations. If seen from a historical point of view, this society has been a tribal society living close to the mainstream of society since its beginning. In the service of human society, this society has done the work of delivering commercial goods to the entire world through Ladeni (Animal based transportation). Their dress, language, conduct and thoughts etc. are different from the common society. At present this society is spread all over India and also abroad. Over time, this society has definitely adopted the influences that other societies have developed. Along with its unique culture, it has adopted the concept of equality of all religions and assimilated the composite culture.
In accordance with the Indian Constitution, Bharatiya Banjara Karmachari Seva Sanstha has been implementing its objective in the country since its establishment in the year 1998 to make every person of Banjara community aware for the social, educational, economic and political progress of this society. Therefore, all the Banjaras are requested to fulfill their duty by ensuring their participation for the welfare of this society so as to brighten the future of the same.

२ फ़रवरी २०२४ और ३ फ़रवरी २०२४, भारतीय बंजारा समाज कर्मचारी सेवा संस्था महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश द्वारा आयोजित राज्य स्तरीय सम्मेलन और सिल्वर जुबली कार्यक्रम
